making the most of our talents

all of us have special talents, and you are no exception. but your talent is no guarantee of success; it must be cultivated and nurtured; otherwise, it will go unused...and God's gift to you will be squandered.

God knew precisely what HE was doing when HE gave you a unique set of talents and opportunities. and now, God wants you to use those talents for the glory of HIS Kingdom. but we live in a world that often encourages us to do otherwise.

the peculiar thing about this world that we live in now is that it is filled to the brim with countless opportunities to squander our time, our resources, and our talents. this was not exactly what God intended when HE first created mankind, but somehow, we really let the devil creep in quite A LOT and mess things around. we must be careful and watchful for distractions and temptations that might lead us astray.

did you know that your particular talent is a treasure on temporary loan from God? HE intends that your talent enrich the world and enrich your life. if you're sincerely interested in building a better life, build upon the talents that God (in HIS infinite wisdom) has given you. don't try to build a career (or a life) around the talents you wished HE had given you. never and i say never try to outsmart God, HE is just too smart for us !!!

God has blessed you with unique opportunities to serve HIM, and HE has given you every tool that you need to do so. today, accept this challenge: value that talent that God has given you, nourish it, make it grow, and share it with the world. after all, the best way to say "Thank You" for God's gift is to use them. good day all of you !!!

quote of the day:

"Employ whatever God has entrusted you with, in doing good, all possible good, in every possible kind and degree." by John Wesley
