as a busy person, you plate is probably full: work to do, bills to pay, family to lead, college assignments...etc etc. sometimes, it seems that you can scarcely find a moment's peace. but the beautiful words of John 14:27 are a reminder that God's peace is always available to all of us.
Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you....." Christ offers us peace, not as the world gives, but as HE alone gives. we, as believers, can choose to accept HIS peace or ignore it.
when we accept the peace of Jesus Christ into our hearts, our lives are transformed. and then, because we possess the gift of peace, we can share that gift with fellow christians, family members, friends and associates. if, on the other hand, we choose to ignore the gift of peace-for whatever reason-we simply cannot share what we do not possess.
today, as a gift to yourself, to your family, and to your friends, claim the inner peace that is your spiritual birthright: the peace of Jesus Christ. it is offered freely; it has been paid for in full; it is yours for the asking. so ask, receive it and then share it.
remember this: sometimes peace is a scarce commodity in a demanding 21st century world. how can we find the peace that we so desperately desire? easy, by turning our days and our lives to God. may we give our lives, our hopes, and our prayers to the Father, and by doing so, accept HIS will and HIS peace. good day all of you !!!
