priorities

have you ever watched a litter of kittens? they explore their surroundings together, they play with each other, they fuss and they fight, they try to be the first in line when food is served. but after a while, they usually end up cuddling together for warmth or rest, basically, their security is in their relationship to each other.

their interaction actually strengthens them, causing muscles to be trained while they are playing with each other. at the same time, their senses are also being sharpened as they look out for each other, emotions are being developed by their dependence on the others. bottom line, family is a priority for the kittens.

we're all living in a very busy time right now, a lot of you are exploring the world-homework, after school practices, recitals, study groups, part-time jobs, work, etc etc-but it would be a good idea to follow the example of the kittens and make your family relationships a priority. when i say family, it is actually a very big scope, there is the family of God (God is supposed to be the priority of our lives by the way), family of your ministry, your actual physical family, and also being a family to the world.

make some time for all these, show some love to everyone, fell the warmth of each other, let it be a source of strengthening. settle any differences with everyone for the sake of your own security and the unity of the family. remember in life, it is the "litter" things that counts, so go and enjoy some good times with all the families that you have. have a nice day all of you !!!

quote of the day:

"At the very core of modern civilization, the motor of the world is family. All that is good, bad, or indifferent in every society, old or new, flows out of the health and effectiveness, or lack thereof, of the family." by Joe Baten
