devotion

when you want to hang out with your friends, you don't just leave it up to chance right? you actually set up a specific time and place to meet them, and then you look forward to the meeting. you know you'll have some important stuff to talk about, you'll make some plans, you may even use your meeting time to tell them how you feel about them-to let them know about your devotion to them, or you might do something together-watch a movie, eat, shop, play, etc etc.

a meeting with God is like that-and more. your daily appointment with god is a time for talking to HIM, a time for sharing what's on your heart, and a time of expressing your devotion to HIM. are you doing this often enough? if not, then you should make an effort to do so, cause God is expecting to hear from us all the time.

while God is not limited to a scale of time, we are. to make sure we meet with HIM each day, we should make an appointment. it doesn't mean that we have to limit our experience with God just because it is an appointment, we can meet HIM anytime and anywhere, but setting a specific time to talk with HIM in prayer and to read HIS Word helps us make it a regular occurrence. be devoted t your devotions, be devoted to God, be devoted to who God wants you to be!!! have a nice day all of you !!!
