linda took a shortcut through her backyard one afternoon, she was deep in thought when she accidentally stepped on the rake her brother had forgotten to put away. the handle of the rake flew up and hot her right on the nose, before long, her nose and eyes were black and blue.

at that instance, she had a choice to make, either she could be upset abut the incident, or she could decide to have a good laugh. which would you choose? anyways, she chose to laugh about it. in school the next day, she told her friends in the canteen about what happened and as she went into the funny details of stepping on the rake, her friends all laughed loudly. it was really a fun recess time for all of them in the midst of an otherwise ordinary day.

people, let's face it, life has its silly moments and many of them will happen to you and me. instead of being embarrassed about them, why not turn them into a good story and brighten up someone's day?
