from the instant we wake up in the morning until the moment we nod off to sleep at night, we make countless choices: choices about things we do, choices about words we speak, even subtle choices about the way we direct our thoughts. simply put, the quality of these choices determines the quality of our lives.
as believers who have been saved by a loving and merciful God, we have reason to make right choices. yet sometimes, amid the inevitable hustle and bustle of life-here-on-earth, we allow ourselves to behave in ways that we know are displeasing to our God. when we do, we forfeit the joy and the peace that we might otherwise experience through HIM.
sometimes, because we're imperfect human beings, we may become so wrapped up in meeting society's expectations that we fail to focus on God expectations. to do so is a mistake of major proportions-so don't make it.
so, whom will you please today? God or man? our primary obligation is not to please imperfect men and women. our obligation is to strive diligently to meet expectations of an all-knowing and perfect God. trust HIM always, love HIM always, praise HIM always, and make choices that please HIM always.
remember this: if you have been struggling against God's will for your life, you have invited unwelcome consequences into your own life and into the lives of your loved ones. a far better strategy is to consult God earnestly and often. God's plan are the best plans for you and me. God Bless and have a nice day !!
quote of the day:
"Many jokes are made about the devil, but the devil is no joke. He is called a deceiver. In order to accomplish his purpose, the devil blinds people to their need for Christ. Two forces are at work in our world-the forces of Christ and the forces of the evil-and you are asked to choose." by Billy Graham
