asking and accepting

how often do you ask God for HIS help and HIS wisdom? occasionally? intermittently? whenever you experience a crisis? hopefully not? hopefully, you've acquired the habit of asking God's assistance early and often. and hopefully, you have learned to seek HIS guidance in every aspect of your life.

Jesus made it clear to HIS disciples: they should petition God to meet their needs. so should you. genuine, heartfelt prayer produces powerful changes in you and in your world. when you lift your heart to God, you open yourself to a never-ending source of divine wisdom and infinite love.

James 5:16 makes a promise that God intends to keep: when you pray earnestly, fervently, and often, great things will happen. too many people, however, are too timid or too pessimistic to ask God to do big things. please don't count yourself among their number, you should be different, be bold and ask from God.

God can do great things through you if you have the courage to ask HIM (and the determination to keep asking- i do it all the time, so trust me, it works). but don't expect God to do all the work. when you do your part, HE will do HIS part-and when HE does, you can expect miracles to happen.

the Bible promises that God will guide you if you let HIM. your job is to let HIM. but sometimes, you will be tempted to do otherwise. sometimes, you'll be tempted to go along with the crowd; other times, you'll be tempted to do things your way, not God's way. when you feel those temptations, resist them and prayerfully ask God to help you overcome them.

God has promised that when you ask for HIS help, HE will not withhold it. so ask. ask HIM to meet the needs of your day. ask HIM to lead you, to protect you, and to correct you. then trust the answers HE gives.

God stands at the door and waits. when you knock, HE opens. when you ask, HE answers. your task, of course, is to make God a full partner in every aspect of your life-and to seek HIS guidance prayerfully, confidently and often.

remember this: pray early and often. one way to make sure that your heart is in tune with God is to pray often. the more you talk to God, the more HE will talk to you. God bless and good day to all of you !

"Don't be afraid to ask you Heavenly Father for anything you need. Indeed, nothing is too small for God's attention or too great for His power." by Dennis Swanberg
