openness

have you ever heard of the expression, "some things are better left unsaid'? well, what i can say is it doesn't work all the time. for example, as a small child, did you ever do something that you knew was wrong? maybe you were sorry for doing it but didn't know how to tell your parents, so you tried to avoid them instead. maybe you ran to your room and hid in your closet.

after 20 minutes or so, you realized that no matter how long you hid, you would still have to face your parents. so you walked slowly to the living room and mumbled, "I'm sorry". if you had said it right away, you'd have saved 20 minutes of worrying in that closet.

what i am trying to tell you guys is this, it's always better to say "i'm sorry" than to just think. telling someone that you're sorry for the words or actions brings the potential of healing to them, and it also brings closure to you. telling your family or friends about your feelings is risky, but its worth it. like they say, better be "said" than sorry. have a nice day all of you !!!

quote of the day:

"When you're wrong, admit it, and when you're right, shut up!" anonymous
