growing

after you reach a certain age, do you stop eating? like, once you're fifty, do you still have to eat? of course you do man, otherwise you would die of hunger. you have to eat everyday to stay healthy. your body needs constant intake of nutrients, minerals, and sugar for growth. weird diets and quick fix weight loss schemes are dangerous because they may short circuit your growth-and ruin your health in the process.

your mind needs a constant intake of knowledge as well. you're never too young or too old to learn. but learning isn't caught like a cold. it's done on purpose. you learn by putting stuff into your mind. positive stuff has a positive effect and guess what? negative stuff has a negative effect. your "intake choices" make a difference in your daily attitude.

how about spiritual growth? you not only need to "feed you face"; you also need to "feed your faith" taking time for Bible reading and prayer is like stopping for lunch. both activities have a positive effect and a powerful effect. so keep growing !!! have a nice day !!
