when you're at the mall and you discover some awesome shoes, what happens when you show them to your friends? there will be some those who think the shoes are the best they've seen, there will be some who are jealous, they will discourage you to buy it in hopes of buying the same pair for themselves later. there will be some that will laugh so hard they'll fall down and many other reactions will come along the way, come one people, don't pretend that this hasn't happened, we live in a real world and this is how the world is now. you will find it hard to please every one and make everyone happy.

trying to please everyone can be a frustrating and painful experience, just about when you think that you've pleased one person, another one comes along. this will cause your attention to be diverted, you will find yourself stopping to please one and start pleasing the second. if this goes on and you keep riding this cycle, you'll end up crashing very very soon.

the Bible says to love God with all your heart-to focus your attention on HIM. focusing on God means trying to please HIM in your attitudes and actions and everything else. and the cool thing is, when you focus on God, your relationship with others will get better. so, remember this, stop pleasing other people, please God first and others next, then you will see the power of God moving in your life. have a great day all of you !!!

everyone has beliefs or values that determine how he or she will act or react in given situation. whether they are spiritual, moral, financial, or political, you, too, have values that affect your behavior. there are some things you are willing to do and some things you won't do simply because of what you believe.

tv, magazines, and billboard ads try to influence your beliefs all the time, for instance, some challenge you to wait until you are married before you have a sexual relationship. "I am worth it," the ad slogan reminds you. that's the same as saying, "I have some beliefs about my self-worth that will determine my behavior."

abstinence may not be the most popular belief, but it's a good one-and practical one too. just think of all the things you have to worry about now, do you really want to carry all the baggage that comes with growing up too fast? this is the world that we are living in now, it forces us to grow faster than we ever thought, way beyond our actual ability and capacity. so young people, watch out for it, use wisdom from God to know where you should be at your life.

always remember to put your value system at work and say, "I'm too valuable to do anything contrary to my beliefs." your commitment to abstinence may influence someone else just when he or she is making decisions about his or her own behavior. remember this: values are valuable. have a nice day !!!
